Today, after 72 years since Partition, the Sikhs from Punjab can visit the beautiful Kartarpur Gurdwara Sahib. The importance of this occasion is historic not just because of the remarkable speed in which the corridor and the development of the entire Gurdwara complex was planned and completed but also the opening of the corridor will bring the two Punjabs together and hopefully brings peace between the two countries.

Let us celebrate the 550th Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and let us also thank the laborers, architects and engineers who have worked day and night to make this grand occasion possible.
