Our Eternal August through AI

Couple of years ago, I wrote about how the month of August to most Punjabis brings back old memories of pain and suffering, as it reminds them of the horrible events of partition when we lost so many of our own.

By providing AI with a context model of articles, books and stories related to the partition, I then prompted it to recreate those events through its own imagination.

Results are astounding to say the least. I hereby present some of the AI generated images of partition through the eyes of artificial intelligence. I'll continue to add more images in this page.

This is the closest we can come to witnessing Partition with our own eyes. We are bringing history back to life.
